Eliezer and Johane are a married couple from Sherbrooke, Quebec, who have been serving Christ together since their marriage in 2022. Their faith has increasingly shaped their family, professional lives, and vision for the future, leading them to become more intentional about making themselves available for God’s purposes and the work of the global Church.
Eliezer has a background in communications, photography, videography, and marketing. Through his work with churches, organizations, and businesses, he has developed a passion for using creativity and media to communicate the Gospel, encourage believers, and serve ministry organizations. Johane is a teacher who has worked with students with special needs in both elementary and high school settings. Her experience has developed in her a strong passion for serving others, mentoring students, and helping individuals grow despite the challenges they face.
Over time, both Eliezer and Johane have sensed God leading them toward missions. Through prayer, conversations with trusted Christian leaders, and opportunities to serve, their desire to participate in what God is doing around the world has continued to grow. This calling has led them to pursue missionary service with SIM Canada. Their desire is to use their complementary gifts and professional experience to serve local churches and ministry partners. Eliezer hopes to contribute through media, communications, and creative work, while Johane desires to use her experience in special education, mentoring, and relationship-building to serve children, youth, and communities. During their current term, they hope to support Gospel-centered ministries, build meaningful relationships with the people they serve, and use their skills to strengthen the work of local believers. Above all, their prayer is that their ministry would point people to Christ and contribute to the making of disciples.
