WALKING FOR HOPE
This October, we're walking for those we serve.
This October, GMHA staff in Uganda and Tricia, our Canadian SIM Missionary team member - will be walking to raise support for the people and communities we serve.
We aren't walking because the need is small.
We're walking because the need is great.
Across Uganda, refugees and conflict-affected communities are living with the effects of displacement, loss, trauma and uncertainty. Children are growing up carrying experiences no child should have to carry. Families are rebuilding their lives. Communities are trying to heal.
And our Ugandan staff are there - walking alongside them.
They are counsellors, program staff, community workers and leaders who show up every day to listen, encourage, support and help people find a way forward.
This October, we're walking for them - and for the people they serve.
Would you join us?
Your donation will support GMHA's ongoing work providing culturally sensitive, Christ-centered psychosocial support to refugees and conflict-affected communities in Uganda.
Your gift helps make it possible for our teams to continue reaching people with practical support, mental health care, trauma healing and hope.
YOU CAN WALK WITH US, TOO.
You don't have to be in Uganda to be part of Hope Walk.
You can support us by making a donation, sharing this page with others, or joining Hope Walk yourself by walking, running or riding throughout October.
Every step is a reminder that people affected by conflict and displacement have not been forgotten.
Help us walk for hope. Help us walk for healing. Help us walk for those we serve.
